Best THC Free CBD Oil

If the CBD oil you’re consuming contains even a trace amount of THC, it can show up in your company’s drug test results.

And if your company has a strong stance against THC, you can get in trouble.

Hey there everyone! It’s Matt here. I apologize for the scary introduction, but I’m here just doing my job of educating you.

Today I’m gonna talk about THC in your CBD products, and after that give you reviews of the Best CBD oils without THC. I promise, there’ll be no THC here.

So, let’s get started, shall we?

What is CBD oil?

Cannabidiol or CBD, in short, is one of the major cannabinoids identified in the cannabis plants. And as you might expect, that’s the primary constituent of CBD oils.

However, CBD oils have variations. Some of them are available as an isolate oil (contains only CBD), while others may contain a wide variety of cannabinoids and constituents of the cannabis plant (full spectrum CBD oil). Most non-isolate oils come with a carrier oil, which is usually coconut oil.

The quality of the CBD oil depends greatly on the extraction process. And the best method is surely the supercritical CO2 extraction process. It is highly effective in obtaining the maximum amount of CBD while ensuring the final product is free of chlorophyll. But, it’s quite costly and requires a high level of expertise.

One of the benefits of a high-quality extraction process is that the THC content is kept to a bare minimum. But, even a trace amount can cause problems in a drug test. Hence, some manufacturers go the extra mile to ensure that their products are Zero-THC.

Who should consider CBD oil without THC?

Although you might feel that I consider THC as some kind of unforgiving demon, it’s not the case. I just want you all to be a little more vigilant if you plan on using CBD regularly.

So, if any of the following cases happens to ring true for you, I suggest you purchase CBD oils which come with the Zero THC tag. It may be pricey, but it’s well worth the premium.

Your Office Frequently Conducts Drug Tests

We are well into the 21st century now, and many US states have made medical marijuana legal. Some states have even shown the green light to recreational marijuana.

And if you’re a resident of a place with lenient marijuana laws, you should be safe from drug tests, right? Well, unfortunately, you aren’t.

Companies follow their own policies, and you must check with your current employer to see if it’s legal to consume THC. And it’s not just limited to the corporate environment; even professional athletes need to stay vigilant.

You have Anxiety Issues

Now, this is the main reason why I avoid CBD oils which contain even a trace amount of THC. As you might know, I suffer from terrible anxiety issues, and THC can act as a stressor for my condition.

Sure, trace amounts of THC shouldn’t make much of a difference on paper, but, when you factor in the placebo effect, things can take a turn for the worse. It has happened to me and could well be true in your case as well.

You Have an Allergic Reaction to THC

Marijuana allergy is not something unheard of. It’s real and could easily be triggered due to an excess quantity of THC. And if you happen to have an allergic reaction towards a cannabis product, I suggest consulting a medical professional first.

The chances are that your allergy is mainly due to THC. And in that case, you should be fine with a THC free CBD oil.

You Don’t Want to Get High

Granted CBD oils with trace amounts of THC won’t get you high; the market is still riddled with products that come with a substantial amount of THC. And since CBD companies are largely unregulated, even ‘trace amounts’ can be quite significant.

So, in my opinion, it’s best to consider products from established brands which come with Zero THC or trace amounts of THC.

Top 6 Best CBD Brands Without THC:

#1 CBDistillery Isolate Oil

When it comes to manufacturing high-quality, yet affordable CBD oils, CBDistillery reigns supreme. The company has a wide range of concentration options, including a mammoth 5000 mg product, which offers an incredible price ratio of 23.8 mg per dollar.

So, exactly how good are their Zero-THC oils? Well, let’s find out.

My Experience

Now, most of you might find it surprising that CBDistillery offers two types of CBD tinctures – a full spectrum oil and a Zero-THC pure CBD oil. And interestingly, it’s the pure variant that’s cheaper.

I’ve reviewed their full-spectrum products on multiple occasions, and I’ve never been disappointed once. So, naturally, I was quite excited to try the Zero-THC oil.

Since the 5000 mg product would have been overkill, I went and purchased the 2500 mg tincture. And once again, I followed the same protocol as before.

As soon as my back pain, sleep problems, anxiety, became unbearable, I took the first dose of the oil. Honestly, I was quite surprised by the efficacy of the tincture. In fact, my back felt almost as good as new, and I slept much better as well.

My anxiety, on the other hand, improved quite a bit, but it was still bad enough to keep me away from work.

After the second dose, my back pain and sleep problems were completely eradicated. And my anxiety issues were almost gone. In fact, I was able to head over to work and didn’t face any significant problems out there.

Needless to say, the third dose brought me back to my best. And honestly, I was quite impressed by the overall performance of the tincture.

Verdict

If you’re looking for an ultra-high concentration CBD tincture without breaking the bank, you can’t do any better than CBDistillery’s Zero-THC oils. This was surely one of the most effective products I’ve reviewed. And what really seals the deal for me is the incredible value.

#2 CBDPure

Despite their lack of ultra-high concentration CBD oils, I’ve grown quite fond of the brand over the years. Their products are made from high-quality, natural and organic hemp and come with no trace of THC.

CBDPure’s oil tinctures are available in 3 concentration levels –100 mg, 300 mg, and 600 mg. All of these oils are only available in the natural flavor.

My Experience

I ordered the 600 mg oil for my review. And I must say, after testing quite a few high concentration products, I really wasn’t expecting much from the standard dosage amount.

I followed my usual protocol and took a week-long break from my existing CBD medications until my back pain, sleep problems, and anxiety came back with a vengeance. In fact, it was quite bad; bad enough to make me think about calling in sick the next day.

But, after the first dose itself, I felt a lot better. Sure, I still couldn’t sleep normally. But, my back pain was almost gone, and I managed to catch almost 5 hours of sleep (according to my Fitbit).

As for my anxiety, the CBD oil lowered it a bit, but a tough day at the office got the better of me. It took me about 4 doses to completely remove any signs of my conditions.

If I had to nitpick, it wouldn’t be about the quality of the product; rather, it would be about the lack of cost-effective, high concentration options.

Verdict

Honestly, despite the relatively lower concentration, I can say that it works almost as good as any of the higher concentration products from competitors. CBDPure’s products may not look that attractive on paper, but, they surely deliver in the real world.

Finally, when you factor in the 90 Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, it’s not hard to see why this CBD oil ranks on top of my list.

#3 SOLCBD

SOL CBD has been my go-to brand for a while now. In fact, their 3600 mg CBD oil tincture is surely one of my favorites. Apart from their 3600 mg oil, which is only available in the natural flavor, the company also sells 300 mg bottles in a choice of natural or cinnamint flavors.

And while their products may seem overpriced, they are well worth the premium.

My Experience

For this review, I purchased the 3600 mg CBD oil tincture and followed the same protocol as before. I took a 10-day break from my existing CBD medications and waited for my chronic back pain, sleep and anxiety problems to return.

Once my conditions were bad enough to affect my daily schedule, I started taking my standard dosage. After the first dose itself, my conditions improved a fair bit. My back pain almost vanished, and I was able to sleep much better. However, my anxiety still caused me some problems at work the next day.

After the third dose, even the slightest trace of my conditions was gone, and I was back to my normal self. Honestly, I’ve always been satisfied with SOL CBD’s tincture and this time around, it was no different. But, no product is perfect, and I can’t help but complain about the premium price tag.

Moreover, the company only sells two concentrations for their CBD oil –300 mg and 3600 mg. There are no intermediate options available.

Verdict

If you’re looking for a high-quality CBD oil tincture which doesn’t come with any THC, then SOL CBD’s 3600 mg product should surely be on your list. Honestly, if the high price doesn’t bother you, then by all means, go for it.

In case the company releases an intermediate concentration of their CBD oil tincture or lowers the price of the 3600 mg oil, it could very well rank on top of my list.

#4 Hemp Bombs

Hemp Bombs had been flying under my radar for a while, and so, I thought that this would be the perfect time to put their Zero THC CBD oils to the test.

Their CBD oil tinctures come in 5 different concentrations, starting at 300 mg and going all the way up to 4000 mg. And they are available in two flavors – peppermint and watermelon.

My Experience

The lack of any natural flavored CBD oil was a bit of bummer for me. But, I soon settled for the 2000 mg bottle in peppermint flavor. And honestly, it turned out to be quite good. In fact, if you love mint, you’ll appreciate the taste of this product.

Just like before, I halted my CBD medications until my back pain, sleep problems and anxiety returned. And after taking the standard dosage amount of the CBD oil, my conditions improved quite a bit.

In fact, my sleep was almost back to normal. And my back pain didn’t seem to bother me anymore. However, my anxiety still bothered me a bit at work.

After the second dose, my sleep and back problems were long gone, and only traces of my anxiety remained. I was completely back to my normal self after the third dose.

Apart from the lack of a natural flavored CBD oil, I really can’t fault Hemp Bombs. Sure, companies like SOL CBD, CBDPure offer higher quality CBD products, but the difference is negligible.

Verdict

In a nutshell, the Hemp Bombs CBD oil is almost as good when it comes to quality compared to the top CBD brands. Their Zero-THC tinctures are well priced, and they give you the option of 5 different concentrations. What more can you ask, right?

Well, personally, I’d like to see Hemp Bombs offer their CBD oil tinctures in the natural flavor. If they can do that, their tinctures can easily climb up the rankings.

#5 Medterra

Zero THC CBD oils aren’t cheap. And you’d be lucky to find an ultra-high concentration product which offers a price ratio of higher than 12 mg CBD per dollar. The Medterra 3000 mg CBD tincture, on the other hand, offers a rather impressive 20 mg CBD per dollar. Their lower concentration oils also offer great value.

But, do you have to make compromises for the attractive price tag? Well, let’s find out.

My Experience

For this review, I ordered the 3000 mg tincture and followed the same protocol as before.

Once my back pain, sleep problems, and anxiety started affecting my daily routine, I took my first dose of the CBD oil. And I must say, the effects were quite significant.

My back pain and sleep problems were wiped out in a single swipe. As for my anxiety, only traces of it remained.

After the second dose, I was completely back to my normal self. The 3000 mg tincture is an absolute beast. Since it comes in a 30 ml bottle, there’s a significant amount of CBD per drop. And that’s what made it more effective than the rest of the CBD oils featured here.

But, that doesn’t mean it’s the best CBD oil there is. I’ve taken comparable dosage amounts of SOL CBD’s 3600 mg oil before (not in this review), and when you put it against that, I’d say it’s a tad less effective.

Moreover, compared to SOL CBD and CBDPure, Medterra doesn’t offer any 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. That could be a problem if you’re someone who’s new to the world of CBD.

Verdict

In my opinion, if you’re on a tight budget and are looking for a decent Zero-THC CBD oil, this is one of the best options out there. But, in case you’re trying CBD for the first time, I’d suggest going for one of the brands which offer 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

#6 Endoca

While the other CBD brands featured here only operate in the US, Endoca products are not just available in the North American region, but, throughout the world! Yes, that’s right!

Their CBD oils come in two concentrations (300 mg and 1500 mg) and have two variants – one, a normal Hemp Oil, while the other is a Raw Hemp Oil. The Raw Hemp Oil contains CBDa along with CBD.

My Experience

I came across this brand while I was on a trip to the UK. Now, this wasn’t like the time when I forgot to pack my CBD medications. Rather, I chose to buy a product from a company which was available in the UK.

Since Daniel was already experienced with CBD brands in the UK, I asked him to recommend a product. And he suggested Endoca, of course.

So, for this review, I ordered the 1500 mg Hemp Oil drops and followed the same protocol as earlier. However, this time it was a little different.

Being in a completely new environment without my wife, kids and Rufus made me overly anxious. That had a drastic effect on my sleep schedule. Moreover, my chronic back pain was probably at its worst.

Thankfully, my CBD oil arrived just in time. And after taking a concentrated dose, my problems eased down quite a bit. My back pain became bearable, and my sleep improved too. However, my anxiety still caused me some trouble in my new work environment.

It was only after the third concentrated dose that I was back to my normal self.

This CBD Oil worked quite well. But, I felt that the price was surely on the higher side. Apart from the price, however, I can’t really complain about much.

Verdict

In my opinion, this is an excellent Zero-THC CBD oil, but, one which is let down by the high price tag. So, if you’re located in the US, I’d say there are better options available. But, if you live anywhere else in the world, Endoca is probably your only option.

Disclaimer: I’m by no means an expert in the field of CBD, nor am I a medical professional. I just happen to love reviewing CBD products. So, if you’re new to the world of CBD or have any doubts, I suggest consulting with a medical professional first.
