Thought Cloud CBD Review

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is gaining much popularity owing to fresh discoveries and research on its benefits as well as traditional medications and treatments failing to do enough to relieve people of the hassles of a modern-day stressful life.

While Tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC in short) – CBD’s cannabis cousin – has quite a few adverse effects on the body and mind, from mild intoxication to a mind-altering high and other undesirable effects on the nervous system, CBD is a comparatively safer, with many health benefits.

It has even been found to be safe for treating certain serious ailments among children.

However, with too many CBD companies and brands mushrooming in the global market, one must be careful about how CBD is sourced, extracted and produced.

Our reviews are an attempt to keep you well informed about which CBD brands are good, safe and reliable; which of their products are worth investing in, and why. We give you an overview of all the good brands, along with a brief on my experiences with some of their products.

ThoughtCloud is certainly one of those products that we felt was worth reviewing. So here goes…

ThoughtCloud CBD as a Brand

Founded by holistic medical practitioner Leoncio Adrian Pena in 2017, ThoughtCloud was based on the principle of providing people with pure, natural, vegan, and high-grade, organic products.

Sourced from Colorado farms’ organically grown hemp, their CBD oil is extracted in the most safely and cleanly – through CO2 supercritical extraction method – which is the food-grade standard.

Their 100% pure plant medicines (sourced from hemp organically grown in Colorado) are aimed at providing people with metabolic homeostasis, boost their immune system and maintain their mental health.

The composition of ThoughCloud’s CBD products contains less than 0.3% THC. This not only makes their products safer and more beneficial but also legal to be shipped to any part of the country (all 50 states, as per the law).

They also permitted by law to ship their products to other countries, like Australia, Argentina, and Austria.

Although all their products are claimed to be tested by third-party laboratories, you won’t be able to view them on the product labels or their website www.ThoughtCloud.net. You can, however, get their product Certificate of Analysis (CoA) on request from the company through their customer support.

Their customer support personnel are known to be friendly, prompt and helpful, with whom you can get in touch via email, phone, and live chat. You can also reach out to the company on their social media accounts, including Facebook.

While their prices seem to be on the higher end, their products are of high quality, effective and safe for regular use.

Ingredients

Made from non-GMO hemp plants, grown on Colorado’s local farms, their products are vegan, containing no animal-based fats like gelatin. They are devoid of any additives, preservatives, and other harmful chemicals, like pesticides and heavy metals.

They also contain no artificial flavoring. All available flavors are produced from natural fruits and salts. They are gluten-free and sugar-free.

Their full-spectrum products do contain trace amounts (less than 0.3%) of THC.

Other ingredients of their products generally include medium-chain triglycerides or caprylic acid, vitamins B, C, and E.

Some of their products, like the Hangover CBD Shot, contains nano CBD particles for easy and fast absorption. Their Signature Series CBD oil (for oral consumption) contains MCT (coconut) oil, besides sister cannabinoids of CBD, like Cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabinol (CBN),  Cannabidivarin CBDV, and Cannabichromene CBC.

Their beauty products contain a range of natural, organically grown, plant extracts, like ozonated jojoba oil, Shea butter, olive oil, French green clay, kale and essential oils sourced from organically grown plants.

Apart from CBD-based products, they also sell CBG (or cannabigerol)-based products for inflammations and allergies, and CBN (cannabinol)-based products for pain relief and sleep promotion.

Drug Test

ThoughtCloud that is essentially an online retailer sells all kinds of CBD products, including full-spectrum ones, which may contain trace amounts of THC, and isolates that contain no other component of cannabis except CBD itself.

While the trace amounts of THC (0.3% in weight of total CBD oil content) in some of their products are hardly detectable in the usual drug tests carried out by the government, different enforcement agencies, and companies, it is still possible to be tested positive for THC, although highly unlikely.

In cases of people who have to regularly undergo drug tests, its best to opt for the isolate variants of their products.

Official Company Name

The official company name of the brand is its namesake, ThoughtCloud, with its logo bearing the numeric figure “zero” in place of the letter “O” of “Cloud”.

The company offers a 30-day return policy on all unopened items, i.e. 30 calendar days from the date it is shipped by the company.

Thought Cloud CBD Reviews

ThoughtCloud sells good-quality CBD products, comprising both full-spectrum and isolates. They are safe, devoid of harmful agents, and extracted with the help of the CO2 extraction method.

Their ingredients are sourced from high-quality, organically grown hemp and other plant extracts, including natural flavoring, with negligible levels of THC. Their products are gluten-free, propylene glycol-free, sugar-free, soy-free and vegan-friendly.

Unlike most other brands, they have no invested their research and money on making capsules.  Their CBD products may predominantly be categorized under:

  1. CBD tincture oils
  2. CBD topical creams, balms and salves
  3. CBD vape supplies
  4. CBD bath bombs
  5. CBD products for children

I have tried their Rubi Vape Bundle, Full-Spectrum CBD in Coconut Oil, and Ozonated Coconut CBD Topical Skin Issue Resolver. Below are their reviews.

Full-Spectrum Rubi Vape Bundle

If vaping is your thing, ThoughtCloud has one of the best and the safest products. This bundle of products includes Rubi vape pen, vape pod and a 30 ml bottle of pure CBD hemp oil containing 600mg of CBD.

There is a CBD isolate variant of the product as well. However, I used the full-spectrum option because I wanted to make the most of the entourage effect.

The oil comes in 11 lovely flavors, including strawberry limeade, banana cake, bubble gum, choc cherry, cinnamon, pina colada, mint, and waffles. I tried out the strawberry shortcake flavor.

Apart from the CBD and natural flavoring, the oil contains MCT (coconut) oil, instead of propylene glycol, making it safer for human consumption.

The vape pen comes in 5 colors as well, like black, rose gold, teal, etc.

Ways of Consumption

Like any other CBD vaping product, the oil has to be inhaled with the help of the accessories provided in the bundle.

The vape pen is a compact, 4-inch apparatus that is easy to use. It has a 1ml capacity, with 8-second auto-shutoff and dual airflow features. The vape pod, which also comes with a 1ml capacity, is handmade, leak-proof, and has no spit-back.

Dosage

Dosage for vape pens is dependent on the user’s health condition, his body weight, his endocannabinoid system, among other factors, like the product’s bioavailability, etc.

Each product is different and each user has a different requirement.

I used a CBD calculator to assess my base requirement for vaping oils and started using it. I experienced almost immediate effect after using it.

After a week of using it twice daily –early in the morning and later in the evening – I realized I didn’t need as much. So I started reducing the amount of CBD oil used in the vape pen.

My Experience

Given the fact this was my first CBD vape use, I can’t give a comparative idea. However, one thing is for sure. I loved it!

My back pain was almost instantly gone with the very first dose, though it reappeared after around 6 hours. However, after using it for a week at a stretch, I realized that not only was I completely pain-free, I also did not need as much of it. I reduced my dose and found the same benefit.

The only issue with this product is that, though the vaping accessories are quite compact, it is not always easy to use in public places, like when I have to go on an office tour. I would rather prefer the more inconspicuous forms of administration. But then, that is an issue of all vaping products.

As far as its effectiveness and quality were concerned, I found this product to be excellent.

Price

This product, comprising a vape pen and a 30ml bottle of full-spectrum vape CBD oil (600mg) is priced at $69.99. Hence, its per-mg rate is $0.12 – admittedly a bit expensive.

Full-Spectrum CBD in Coconut Oil

To give you a comparative idea about a brand, I always review the CBD tincture oil of all brands, apart from trying out some of the special items from different brands.

ThoughtCloud’s CBD oils are available in different variants – full-spectrum or isolates, CBD in coconut (MCT) oil or cold-pressed hemp oil, CBD oils for adults, kids or pets, CBD with different blends of other sister cannabinoids, etc. Each one has its unique health benefit, but I tried out the Full Spectrum CBD (1500mg) in coconut oil.

This offers a full range of benefits and, after having used so many CBD tinctures so far, I don’t generally mind the taste of CBD oil mixed in MCT oil. In fact, I even come to like it.

Ways of Consumption

Tinctures are consumed orally, under the tongue, i.e. sublingually. ThoughtCloud’s CBD tincture is no different. It comes with a dropper to help you keep your dosage consistent.

Dosage

You can always calculate the right dosage for you. I started with 3 drops twice daily, of course, after a week of abstinence from all CBD products. I stuck to this dosage for 2 weeks.

My Experience

This variant of tincture comes in 4 strengths – 500mg, 750mg, 1500mg and 3000mg. I tried out the 1500mg CBD concentrate.

I found this product to be among the best CBD tinctures on the market. Quality-wise, I had no complaints; effectiveness was also great. No foul taste, no ill effects, perfectly effective right from the first day (from the second dose).

Price

The cost of one 30ml bottle of full-spectrum CBD in coconut oil, containing 1500mg of CBD, is $41.03, i.e. it is priced at $0.03/mg, which is fairly priced, I would say.

Ozonated Coconut CBD Topical Skin Issue Resolver

Another product that I wanted to try out from this brand is what it claims is one of its kind in the world – its ozonated coconut CBD topical skin issue resolver. It is great for acne, eczema, psoriasis, and viral and fungal infection of the skin.

The only reason why I wanted to try it out was to see if it has any effect on my cracked heels and dark spots on my face.

Ways of Consumption

This topical salve, containing a blend of 50 ml coconut oil, 300mg CBD oil, and ozone bubbles, needs to be applied directly on the affected areas. I used it once every night on my heels, face, and neck.

Dosage

You can choose to use it whenever you’re comfortable. Since I am busy all day long and don’t have time to take care of my skin, I used it only before bedtime after a hot shower. This helped open up the pores, allowing the salve to do its job efficiently.

Note: Be careful while using it. Do not sniff at it. Ozone irritates the nasal cavity.

My Experience

I could feel the difference right from the first morning-after since I started using it before bedtime. The cracked heels were no longer hard to the touch and the dead skin was peeling off easily. My face felt more hydrated, and my complexion seemed a tad bit lighter.

After a week’s use, both my issues were almost gone. The dark spots and sunburns had faded considerably, leaving my skin looking visibly brighter, and my once-cracked heels were soft and smooth like that of a baby’s feet.

I must say, ThoughtCloud’s “World’s Only” product didn’t disappoint me at all!

It is also good for the treatment of skin affected by herpes virus, ringworm, acne, psoriasis, eczema, wrinkles, burns or cuts. It is also good for the dryness of the skin.

Price

A 1.1-oz.-container of Ozonated CBD Topical Skin Issue Resolver, containing 50 ml coconut oil and 300mg of full-spectrum CBD is priced at $40.99, setting its per mg price $0.14. It may seem a tad bit expensive, but totally worth it!

Parting Thoughts: Will I be using Thought Cloud products again?

Even though ThoughtCloud’s products are a tad bit on the higher end, they are genuinely good quality and I have found them to be quite safe.

The brand provides CBD products of the purest quality, made from hemp grown organically in Colorado and made with the help of the CO2 extraction method, which is the safest and is of food-grade standard.

Although their CoAs from third-party lab tests are not available online or on their labels, they are definitely provided by the company on request. You also get the added benefit of getting fast and free delivery on all your orders, besides their 30-day money-back guarantee.

Overall, I got a very good vibe about this brand and its founder – aspects of a company that goes a long way in garnering trust and reliability in the marketplace.
